The following list includes published charges issued to 16 venues and individuals for non-compliance to health restrictions and measures for the 14-day period:ĤMenUnited, 4040 Steeles Ave. Since March 18, 2020, a total of 74,495 inspections have been conducted with 1,544 charges applied to businesses and individuals across York Region. The combined enforcement team includes York Region Public Health inspectors, municipal bylaw officers, York Regional Police, York Region Transit representatives and Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario officers.īusinesses failing to keep their customers and employees safe by not adhering to the mandated COVID-19 safety measures are subject to fines, according to the Region of York. The results are listed in a biweekly report issued by the Region of York. The charges are part of an ongoing effort to assure businesses are in compliance with current public health regulations and restrictions.
